I got these tires to use as a dual duty tire. Mostly Daily driving with occasional track use. On track they provided much better grip than my previous PZ4 tires while maintaining a sharp turn in and response. They were also very consistent and handled a 1HR straight session with minimal drop in grip. Sidewall is on the stiffer side and I like that. On the street they're great as well providing amazing turn in, feedback, and grip that you'll never exceed on the streets. My biggest gripe is wear. I'm at 7000mi now and will need a new set soon. I still have a lot of thread in the middle but have worn the outer edges from track use and spirited driving. To be fair, a lot of that might be my fault as I'm still a beginner and ran them underinflated on two track days. It seems these tires really like 40PSI for daily driving and around 33 for Track driving, at least on my Veloster N. I think I could get an easy 10-15kmi if I properly inflate them the second time around. These are also quite expensive.

I put these on to do a Tail of the Dragon event with Porsche Rennsport. They performed exceptionally well with reasonably quick warm-up and not terrible when cold. Once hot with pressures dropped by 5lbs, they stuck like glue on a 600+ HP car on super tight turns. I saw 1.4g's so I'd say they were outstanding for a non-R compound! I only had the. On the rear (Cup2 Connect on the fronts) so I can't speak to their turn-in character or grip at the front. Overall quite pleased especially at the close-out price I paid!

Great Track Tire… better than the MICHELIN 4s and the cup 2 lap time-wise. They grip well, good steering feedback, not overly temperature sensitive, and will tell you when they are about to lose traction. If you are serious about making better laps times and you need a 200ttw class, you won't be disappointed. The reason that I gave the tires a poor rating on tire tread ware is that the tires wore out (delaminated on outside bead and chunking) after 5 track days. Tire pressure hot between 33-35 psi an here was no evidence of side rollover on any of the tire. Yes, I do drive aggressively but the 4s had much better tread-ware. Overall, this is a great tire, just wished it lasted longer for the price…. Get them heat cycled before delivery.

Wow, tremendous grip, the Potenza Race in 225/40R18 size is an easy 8-second improvement from OE Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires in 215/40R18 size on a 2-minute lap at Ridge Motor Sports Park. Dry Handling is very balanced, perhaps a little bit leaning toward oversteer. Need a lap or two to get into the most optimal working condition but overall it warms up pretty fast.Compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4, the front of the car feels far sharper, and responds to even the slightest steering input, without the sluggish feeling of the Pilot Sport 4s. After entering a corner, you can adjust the direction more subtly, and the overall driving experience is much better and sportier. Moreover, they are surprisingly quiet, there is no noticeable change in the noise, and the ride is slightly harsher in a good way, the car feels more bottomed down. I would say the comfort is much better than most of the 200TW tires. The car feels safe in the wet, too. Standing water in Seattle is not a concern, just don''''t be crazy in the wet. Can''''t comment on wear yet, I will update later. If this wears well, I would say this is the perfect tire for 50:50 Street and autocross/track use tires.
